At Opticaid we pride ourselves on developing and selling our own brand of Remaldi eyewear which is now synonymous with quality, design and a wide appeal. We believe there’s a style of reading glasses for everyone – from the design led contemporary frame, to fun loving colour and the more subtle everyday style that goes with everything. But whatever your style the brand guarantees quality durable frames and excellent optical clarity all for great value.

The team regularly refreshes the range so there’s always something new and exciting. We like to think of it as fashion with function!

As well as an extensive range of ready reading glasses, the Remaldi collection includes sunglasses, screen specs, over glasses, driving glasses and even fishing glasses. We love to find solutions to those niggly optical problems such as struggling to see clearly when night driving or what to buy as an alternative to expensive prescription sunglasses.

The brand even includes great gifts such as fun loving spec holders, RFID blocking aluminium card wallets and RFID blocking vehicle key wallets. Again attractive quality products that help solve everyday problems.

The Remaldi brand was created in the 1990’s by Opticaid’s founder Roger Marchbank. Whilst it may sound as if it originated from Italy, it came all the way from sunny Yorkshire! It is in fact Roger’s initials REM and a tweek to his mother’s Christian name who was fondly known as Addie (Adelaide).

Anyway as they say the rest is history… The family run business still cherishes and develops the Remaldi name that was created so long ago, whilst remaining true to it’s brand values of fashion, function, quality and value.
